I am an academic, artists, historian and curator who is passionate about improving educational equity for Aboriginal people. I am a Scientia Fellow in the Art and Design Faculty at UNSW.

      76 Traditional Language Used in Production There were several dialects spoken within the Border Rivers and Gwydir catchments. They included the Gamilaraay, Yuwalaraay and Yuwalayaay dialects as spoken by members of the Kamilaroi (Gomeroi) nation. The Nganyaywana language was spoken by members of the Anaiwan (or Eneewin) nation, whose land extends south from the border with the Banbai nation. She transformed her PhD thesis () into a book, A Whakapapa of Tradition: One Hundred Years of Ngāti Porou Carving , (), with new photography by Natalie Robertson (Ngāti Porou). This won multiple awards including Best First Book (Ockhams National Book Awards) and Best Māori Art Book (Ngā Kupu Ora Māori Book Awards).

      Print book: English Summary: Transcripts of interviews with Australian women pereceived as challenging existing conventions and roles ; includes an interview with Coral Edwards, an Aboriginal woman who at five months old was removed with her three sisters and one brother from her parents in Tingha, NSW. Nucoorima (Nucoorilma) was also one of the places where AAM missionaries were based. Articles appear on that area in the Magazine that can be browsed on Trove.
